LILITH

Hello and welcome to my gofundme campaign.

I am here today to ask for your help for my new production called “Lilith” which will be part of the ODC Theater 2023 Season, here in San Francisco, on February 24-25 and 26th.

These performances are made possible thanks to the ODC Theater and Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, who are offering their support to help me realize this project, which is very special to me, so let me tell you a little more about it.

”Fanny Ara reflects on the journey of Lilith, a female symbol of independence, freedom and control over her destiny.

Does liberation have a price? Are we the prisoner of our freedom?

In Lilith, Fanny exposes the weight of chains she once had to carry, self-inflicted as well as imposed by the expectations of others. She then takes us through the mesmerizing journey of her fight towards growth, acceptance and liberation.

Here, Fanny reaches a point of maturity, embodying strength and courage

that came from years of experiences and assumed choices.”

Performing with me and creating the original music will be the two incredible Gonzalo Grau as my musical director and Vardan Ovsepian. Joining the team will be Emilio Ochando, courtesy of Flamenco Vivo, as my artistic advisor and Marisa Youlden as my costume designer for this very specific performance.

While the ODC and Flamenco Vivo are assisting me with a space, marketing, and bringing foreign artists, I still need help from you.

Thanks to your donations, I will be able to pay for some production costs like housing, flights, transportation, a lighting designer, graphic designer , rental of instruments and much more.

Thank you for your time and generosity.

I really hope you can all see the performances in February in San Francisco, or via online!!!!

Thank you for your love and support!

Until then, big kisses to you all!
